Privacy Policy
Effective date: 11 June 2026
Alchemy International Football Academy ("Alchemy", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of every player, parent and visitor who interacts with us. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our enquiry and trial processes and the programmes we deliver across Bangalore and beyond.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you give us directly and information collected automatically when you use our website. Directly, this includes the contact details you submit through our enquiry and trial forms, such as your name, email address and phone number, along with the programme or training location you are interested in. For players, we may collect age, date of birth, playing position, ability level and training history so we can assess the right programme and support development. Where a player is under 18, we also collect the name, contact details and consent of a parent or guardian. Automatically, we collect technical information such as your device type, browser and how you use our site through cookies and similar technologies.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to respond to your enquiries, arrange trials and assessments, deliver and manage our football programmes and communicate with you about your registration, sessions and progress. We may also use it to improve our website and services, to keep our players and facilities safe and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Children's Privacy and Parental Consent
Many of our players are children. We are committed to protecting their privacy and we process a child's personal data only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We collect the minimum information needed to deliver our programmes safely, including any medical or welfare details a parent chooses to share for the child's wellbeing. Parents and guardians may review, update or request deletion of their child's information at any time by contacting us. We do not knowingly use children's data for advertising or profiling.
Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to help the site function, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use our pages. We may use analytics tools to collect aggregated, non-identifying information about site traffic and performance. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
Sharing and Third Parties
We may share your information with trusted service providers who help us operate our website, manage enquiries and deliver our programmes, including hosting, communication and analytics partners. We may also share information with our coaching and partner organisations where it is necessary to support a player's development or trial, and with authorities where we are required to do so by law. Any partner who handles your data is expected to protect it and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Data Retention
We keep your personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this policy or as required by law. Enquiry information that does not lead to a registration is held for a limited period and then deleted. Player and parent records are retained for the duration of a player's involvement with the academy and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our records, safeguarding and legal obligations.
Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or update it and to request its deletion where appropriate. You may also withdraw consent, object to certain uses or ask us to limit how we process your information. Parents and guardians may exercise these rights on behalf of a child. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will respond in line with applicable data protection law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we work to safeguard the data you share with us and to limit access to those who need it to do their work.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
